Welcome to East WashCo Democrats.  We will continue to meet online at our
usual time using Zoom   As we experience the closing of many of the activities important to us, I hope everyone can find a way to take care of themselves and those close to them- by pursuing personal objectives we don't usually have time for, by using media, etc. to stay engaged, or by other creative ways to take care of ourselves and those around us in this challenging time.  We can hope that this leads to a revisioning of what society can and should be - as we see the shortcomings of many of our current responses.
Stay safe, wash hands, wear a mask and know you are part of a community - even when we cannot gather in person.

A  BRIEF HISTORY

Many of us worked with the Washington County Democrats on the Obama election.  When that ended we wanted to keep going. Because Washington County is such a large county, a group of us living in and around King City decided to start a gathering for Democrats closer to our geographic location. We were welcomed to join with the King City Democrats at that time. Thus, the East Washington County Democrats was started in 2013. When not practicing physical distancing we meet monthly on the first Thursday of the month at the King City Civic Association for education, information about how to get involved, and sharing in a respectful and caring community. Everyone is welcome to join us at our meetings.
